Local Waters

Our brown trout fishing venues can be grouped into our local waters here in Easter Ross or nearby, and those a bit further afield that we can also visit on day trips or overnight excursions. Some of the local venues in Easter Ross are shown on the map below.

TroutQuest Fishings
TroutQuest has private arrangements for wild brown trout fishing on a number of trout lochs locally including Loch Eye, Loch Migdale and the Tomich Lochs. In addition we can often offer river trout fishing on the River Alness.

Other Local Fishings
We can also take visiting anglers trout fishing nearby on Lochs Achonachie, Meig and Scardroy in Strathconon controlled by the Loch Achonachie Angling Club and the lochs of South-East Sutherland controlled by Lairg Angling Club, the Kyle of Sutherland Angling Association and Dornoch Angling Club.
