Learn to Fly Fish Courses 2008
Learn to fly fish for trout on our 2 or 3 day course in the Highlands of Scotland running in late July 2008.

Our 'Learn to Fly Fish' courses are based in the village of Evanton, Ross-shire, just 20 miles north of Inverness.
Instruction takes place on a private lochan in the grounds of the nearby Novar Estate. The lochan is stocked with rainbow trout, but also has its own wild brown trout population - it's an ideal environment to learn to fly fish.
In addition to the lochan, we visit a nearby rainbow trout fishery, and there will also be talks on various aspects of fly fishing given at Dalgheal, walking distance from the lochan.

Fly fishing instruction will be given by a professional game angling instructor supported by an experienced ghillie. Each course will be limited to just 6 anglers, ensuring plenty of personal attention combined with expert local knowledge.
The basic course is two days in duration starting on the Friday evening and finishing on Sunday afternoon, but for those with more time to spare and a desire to widen their experience, an optional extension of an additional day will provide a foundation in boat fishing for wild brown trout. There are just 4 spaces available for this optional excursion.
