Excursions

Day Excursions
Whether you are staying with us on one of our holidays or you are just visiting the area, we can offer ½ day or whole day guided excursions locally in Ross-shire to fish for trout or salmon.

If you've not fly fished before, we can offer you a half day introduction to fly fishing on a private lochan and if desired we can combine that with an excursion to fish for wild brown trout on one of our local lochs or rivers to make a memorable introductory day for novices.

If you already fly fish we can collect you from your hotel and take you out for an exciting day of guided trout or salmon fishing depending on your preference. If you are visiting Invergordon as part of a cruise, and looking for some fly fishing action during your tour, we can collect you from your ship, take you fishing for the day, and then return you in plenty of time for your evening sailing.

For our day excursions we can provide all the necessary fishing tackle that you will need, and if you can advise us in advance, we can often provide waders and even fishing clothing if you are 'travelling light'.

Overnight and Multi-night Excursions

For the passionate and discerning trout fisherman determined to fish the very best wild brown trout lochs that mainland Britain has to offer, we can take you by 4-wheel drive vehicle on a fly fishing adventure throughout Wester Ross, Caithness and Sutherland lasting from a single night to a full week.

Dependant on our destination, we travel equipped with a trailer, 15ft boat and petrol and electric outboard engines to ensure that we can go where others cannot, or where the existing boat facilities are poor. During our longer excursions we stay at the best local hotels or guest houses to ensure your comfort.
